Kelly Stevens, her husband Ben, and daughter Persephone have lived in Upper Providence Township since 2020. Kelly was born and raised in Lancaster County and spent time living in cities in the Northeast before settling in Phoenixville. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Kelly is a highly accomplished scientific expert in the biotech industry. With a career dedicated to advancing medicine and improving patient outcomes, Kelly brings extensive knowledge and experience as both a federal public health worker and a doctorate-level research scientist. 

Throughout her professional journey, Kelly has been actively involved in various national scientific organizations, where she has made significant contributions to the field. However, her commitment to making a difference extends beyond the realm of science. In every community she has resided in, Kelly has dedicated her time to serving others and volunteering with multiple organizations in the Northeast region. Kelly firmly believes in the power of local-level engagement as a catalyst for real change, and she is passionate about using her expertise and volunteer experience to promote policy changes in Upper Providence Township. As a mother, she also sees this as an opportunity to be a role model for her daughter, instilling in her the values of community service and the importance of giving back. 

Kelly recognizes the importance of practicality and efficient execution in local government. Her current focus areas include advocating for environmental sustainability, improving infrastructure, fostering transparency, and promoting unity within our community. Kelly is honored to serve the residents of Upper Providence Township.
