As the principal of Grace Planning Associates, Geoffrey Grace primarily works with Upper Providence Township as that municipality’s professional planning consultant and as of January 2018 has been named Zoning Officer and Director of Planning. His responsibilities include review of land development applications for zoning and subdivision ordinance compliance, design reviews for compliance with township design guidelines, and coordination/inspection of landscaping for new developments, a significant portion of time is spent on maintaining the Township’s GIS system and various maps. GIS maintenance consists of database management, specifically managing parcel data and reconciling current and historic information within the Township’s GIS database.
Geoffrey and his family have lived in Upper Providence since 2005 and spend a good deal of their time with local travel baseball and soccer programs. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Planning (1998) and University of Pennsylvania as Master of City Planning (2000). He has been working as a professional planner in Pennsylvania since 1999.
