Officer Andrew Parkins is a patrolman with the Upper Providence Township Police Department, and has been employed by the Township for 17 years. Previously, he was a patrolman in Conshohocken Borough and a police dispatcher in Lower Providence Township.
He is currently assigned to the Community Engagement Unit, and also serves as an instructor for CPR and de-escalation, and as the departmental mental health liaison.
Officer Parkins is a graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School, the North Montco Technical Career Center, and the Delaware County Community College Police Academy.
In his spare time, he is a 25-year volunteer firefighter with Skippack Fire Department, a Deacon at his church, and enjoys raising animals and tending to his small farm with his wife and four children.
