[ARCHIVED] Montgomery County Opens Disaster Recovery Center

Recovery specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration are available to assist homeowners, renters, and business owners in applying for federal aid as a result of Hurricane Ida at the newly opened Montgomery County Disaster Recovery Center (DRC). Located at Montgomery County Community College - Health Sciences Center Gymnasium, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422, the Disaster Recovery Center is open Monday through Friday, 10:00AM - 7:00PM and Saturday 10:00AM - 5:00PM.

Recovery specialists are able to answer questions and provide information on the types of federal help available as a result of the Major Disaster Declaration for the remnants of Hurricane Ida. Parking is free on-site and SEPTA bus routes 96 and 94 both service this location.  Masks are required for entry into the DRC. 

No cost transportation through Gogo Grandparent is available for anyone (not just older adults) who has been impacted by Hurricane Ida for basic transportation needs. Montgomery County residents can request free roundtrip transportation by calling (855) 464-6872 and tell them you would like to sign up as part of Montgomery County, or visiting https://gogograndparent.com/montco to sign up.
