At the Upper Providence Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting on Monday, July 19, Carmen Conicelli was sworn in as a full-time firefighter/EMT for the Upper Providence Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services. He was not able to be formally sworn-in until now due to the Supervisors' meetings only being held virtually. Conicelli joined the department on a part-time basis in June 2017.
Conicelli began fire service career at the age of 14 as a junior firefighter with the Upper Southampton Fire Company, Station 2 in Bucks County. His first career firefighter job was with Gladwyne Fire Company Station 24 in Lower Merion Twp. Montgomery County. Prior to joining Upper Providence, he was with Montgomery Township Department of Fire Services.
Conicelli received his fire training at the Bucks County Department of Public Safety Training Center and the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety Training Center.
He completed his EMT coursework through Harrisburg Area Community College.
Conicelli earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting Telecommunications and Mass Media from Temple University. At Temple University, he was a member of Men’s Crew Team and is DadVail Champion.
